Another day and yet another Toyota Motors recall of over 1 million cars

A new round of Toyota recalls announcements, for three separate issues. A recall by Toyota Motors is starting to become a regular occurrence, and some are looking forward to when Toyota Motors stops recalling automobiles. This recall only involves just over a paltry 1.5 million vehicles. The fuel pump or master brake cylinder may be defective in the main recall of over 1.3 million automobiles. The second is a little smaller. Just over 130,000 cars might have brake drums that can rust.

Toyota Motors recalling again

About 1.53 million cars in the whole world are being recalled by Toyota Motors. There’s a defect in the brakes. This is just suspected though. ABC reports the Toyota Highlander, Avalon and the Lexus GS300, IS250 and IS350 are the models in the recall. The master brake cylinder seal can be defective. It is possible for the master cylinder seal to break. This would cause brake fluid leaking to occur. Brake pressure might go down while a warning light could appear. In the United States of America, there are numerous automobiles being recalled in the brake cylinder recall. About 740,000 cars can be recalled. No accidents have been reported as a result of the possible leak.

Other Toyota Motors recalls

In China, Toyota has recalled another 130,000 automobiles. This happened because of a defect that might trigger rust within the rear wheel disk brakes. Also, Japan may have a fuel pump defect which has brought on 600,000 Japanese autos to be recalled. The fuel pump can have a possible electric fault, which can trigger the automobile to stall. Japan is the only place where there is that defect. This is what the newest York Times reports. The Crown model, which the United States of America does not sell, is where many of the fuel pump problems are coming from

What can I do right now?

Owners can be notified. Toyota will do this. The recall only includes certain model years. These are from 2004 to 2005. Toyota hasn’t had a good year so far. The auto maker continues to be raked over the coals for recalls, though recalls by automobile makers are often preventative.
