Ace of Cakes cancelled from the Food Network station

Following next year, Goldman, the 35-year-old celebrity baker on the reality TV program "Ace of Cakes," will no longer be a regular sight on the Food Network station. Food Network confirmed in a statement Sunday the 10th year of “Ace of Cakes” could be its last, according to the Associated Press. Duff Goldman, along with his colorful crew at Charm City Cakes in Baltimore, M.D., will nevertheless be in business, however now without the cameras and Food Network promotions. Charm City Cakes and Goldman show up on the ‘Ace of Cakes’ program

Becoming famous for Jeffrey Adam "Duff" Goldman was a matter of business with cakes. The cakes were extremely unusual. Charm City Cakes was opened by the Michigan-born man in 2000. Business grew, and so did the need to hire more employees. Those employed by Goldman were not the typical pastry chefs with experience. Sculptors, painters and architects were hired.

Torches, drills and grinders can be found in Charm City Cakes. This is what the Goldman cakes are made from in his bakery.

The conclusion of Ace of Cakes

Some of the best ratings for prime-time showings were given to Ace of Cakes. The Food Network station typically wouldn't do that well. Goldman said it all. He explained all good things must end in time. However, thinking about the man’s love for all cakes beautiful and weird, fans are hoping they’ll get another slice of “Ace of Cakes” on other Food Network programs.
