McRib locator will light up on Nov 2

The emotions wrapped around the McRib sandwich can be huge. Some are looking forward to using a McRib locator, others are fearful. The sandwich is generally offered at random outlets at random times. For about six weeks, starting on November 2, McDonald’s will offer the McRib at all shops – no McRib locator needed.

The McRib is popular

You aren’t getting ribs if you go to McDonald’s. The McRib sandwich will not give you what you need. Barbecue sauce, pickles and onions are all on the bun with the processed and pressed pork patty that is fried. There are some who claim the McRib is actually a “mystery meat,” while others believe that it’s truly pork. The McRib is loved by many either way. Individuals will drive miles in either direction to find a McDonald’s that still sells the McRib. Between Nov 2 and mid-December that will not be an issue anymore. You will not have to travel like that.

Where you can find the McRib

The food could be found easily by fans. All you have to do is use the McRib locator. Of course, McDonald’s can be offering the McRib at all areas soon. On November second, 2010, the sandwich will be widely available. There is not any kind of promotion to go along with the McRib though. On average, a McRib sells about 20 million sandwiches per year — compared to 500 million Large Macs. McDonald’s would like to see bigger numbers. These are fairly small right now.

Why it’s hard to find the McRib

According to McDonald’s representatives, the McRib is offered only sporadically for exactly one reason: It sells better when it is only offered every so often. As a standard menu item, it doesn’t do all that well. The individuals who get what they cannot have are those that want the McRib. This might be the only reason why it sells so well. It has been more than sixteen years since this has occurred. The McRib hasn’t been offered countrywide like this in that long. The McRib is a good deal even if it is not real meat in it. So do you plan on making a special trip to taste the McRib?
