It is so dark in my apartment

I need more lamps. It will make it easier if I had lamps to help make the place lighter. I feel like a vampire in our super dark apartment. I don't understand why they never put good lighting in apartments. It's like they don't understand that people will need some light at night time. They just assume that the windows will provide enough light for the days and nights. Sometimes the light from the window doesn't even make a difference to how dark it is. The apartment still needs more light in it from other sources.
