Bats are really cool

I love watching them fly around. I remember when I was young my family lived in a place that had a lot of bats. They would come out at night to eat all of the small bugs. I was scared that they were going to turn into vampires. I thought they were going to come suck my blood. I remember running into my house scared every time I saw a bat flying around me. I hated it. They were actually not ugly at all. They were kind of cute. They were these little black birds that flew around. Eventually I learned they weren't going to hurt me at all. I haven't seen a bat in a long time sadly.
