Race is on my mind

I dreamt of representing our country in the most glamorous car racing event – Formula 1. Since childhood, I fell in love with speed, cars and races. I have never missed watching a single race of Michael Schumacher. Since 3 years ago, I have been trying my best to qualify in Kart Racing but due to my professional commitments, I had to give more priority to my work rather than my hobby.

I have also been practicing my best to give my finest performance, as the Kart Racing Championship is a stepping stone towards higher titles in motor sports.

Somehow, I managed to take a month's leave and concentrate more on practicing as the season was approaching. The season began and I was performing well but not at my best. With two races down, I was third and 5 points behind the championship leader. I was very confident and instinctively felt that I would win more races.

The sudden stroke of bad luck

You never know what is in store for you in the future. In my fourth race, I was leading the pack. Within seconds the championship leader was right behind me. He put tremendous pressure on me for 3 laps and made an attempt to overtake me. I lost concentration, my car spun and I crashed head on to the near-by safety barrier. All the way while I was crashing, I was thinking, "Man, is this it? Is this the end of my racing career?" After the crash, the racing marshals helped me get out of the car. I wasn't able to stand. Something was wrong, I was losing consciousness.  The stretcher was called; and I was being taken to hospital. At the same time, buzzing somewhere was the sound of cars whirring, as I could sense my dream crash.

When I was taken to the hospital, I had regained my consciousness. I was able to get up but somehow I was experiencing severe pain when I attempted to walk. The doctors were thinking the escape was miraculous because though the crash was heavy, I had only injured my right knee.

Doctors said that they should perform a minor surgery to make the wound heal faster. The problem was I did not have money for my medical expense as I had spent quite a lot on preparing for Kart Racing. Since I did not have enough money, I felt that I would not go for a surgery and would depend on pain-killers to make my knee alright.

Payday loans make it easy for me

Suddenly, the idea of payday loans dawned on me. I had always known about it but never felt the need of using it. This was the time to apply for a payday loan as I was in urgent need of money. Moreover, I did not want to give tension of paying off for the surgery to my parents who stayed in Boston. I applied for the loan and soon got the money wired to my bank account within 24 hours, much faster than I expected. I paid off the hospital bills including the cost of the surgery. My doctor advised me to take a rest of at least 4 weeks before I start racing.

After 2 weeks, I spoke to the officials of Kart Racing and made them realize that I had recovered fully. I soon started racing and I was able to finish 3rd in the championship even though I missed a few races. During this championship, my aggressive racing style was noticed by an Indy Car Racing team and I was chosen as their test driver. Hope I make it to the Formula 1. Thanks to payday loans, I was able to get my life back on the right track.
