Come play soccer with me.
I'm a huge fan of soccer and I love to play it too. I always play at the forward position on the right side. Though I am not boasting about myself, I believe I'm instrumental in the wins that my team has achieved so far. I practice a lot to improve my game. Even when I am at home, you will always find me in the backyard practicing. My parents are fully supportive but they do get irritated at me when I do not dedicate time for my studies. I love my parents very much; they have never missed any of my matches.
We entered the Final round in our inter-college championship.
Once there was an inter-college championship competition. I was very excited and I was hoping that our college would clinch the title. My best friend Roselyn plays at forward left. Together we spice up the game and always put the opponent team under pressure. So most of the time, the opponent team is always trying defensive tactics in vain, when we are in action. We were on a winning streak and hadn't lost a single match. Our coach was very happy with our team's performance but a bit apprehensive as we were going to meet the toughest team to beat in the final match. This team had won the inter-college championship. There was a break of four days given to us before we could play the all-important match.
Will I be a part of the final match?
On the day one of practice, there was a serious accident that took place while practicing. One of our team members had passed the ball straight from the center. The ball was moving at a break-neck speed and if I could just deflect it with my foot, it would be a clever goal. I guess the same thing was running in Roselyn's mind. We did not realize but we were both running fast towards the ball hoping to hit the goal. I was able to reach the ball first, and within seconds the unthinkable happened. Roselyn ran straight into me and we both fell down hurting ourselves badly. We were taken to the hospital immediately.
Everyone from my coach to my team members were shaken up. Roselyn had injured her knee and ankle on her left leg and was told that she would not be able to play the final match. I had injuries on my right palm and left arm. The doctors felt that a minor surgery would be needed on my left arm.
Cash advances loans- the best friend in emergency situations.
Since I hail from a family which could barely make ends meet, spending money on a surgery was a big financial burden. It was difficult for my parents to arrange money at that moment. My coach Sir Ruzwell, suggested my parents to apply for a cash advance loan to foot the medical expenses. My parents did the needful and applied for it. Soon $500 was delivered to my mom's account and the surgery was done quickly. I was still skeptical that I won't be a part of the final game but I was allowed to play as I had recovered fast enough to do so.
The D-day
With Roselyn no longer a part of the game, all hopes were on me. Rubina was the new player playing at Roselyn's position. Somehow, I managed to hit the goal during the last few minutes of the game and register a win. We won the match and though people were talking about how I was a champion despite getting injured a few days back, I feel the real secret for my win was a cash advance loan. Surely, if it weren't for the timely help by the loan, I could not have played the final match.
